The metaphysical garden of change

Rose.wordpress1

When I was 9 years old, I spontaneously astral-projected and found myself suddenly experiencing infinite fields of energy within an atom, within what is commonly referred to as the 99.99…% “space” within each atom.

During this metaphysical travel, I experienced an infinite amount of potential energy fields within each atom, fields that can become actualized by our consciousness and focus.

This left an indelible mark on my soul and on my comprehension of the energies involved in the evolution of consciousness.

Where I live in the eastern regions of Canada, I see the metaphysics of change as being similar to what happens during the change of seasons, when everything not only comes back to life, but when the yearly ritual of building our summer garden takes place.

Gardening is a lot like building a new field of consciousness, a new field of energy, where we are co-creating a new existence with a power greater than ourselves.

What is currently happening globally is a change of energetic season. We are still vibrating in the old consciousness, while also vibrating in the frequencies of a new consciousness. Upheaval and resistance is a normal part of all change.

As we journey towards a new higher consciousness, we may imagine this to be an enchanting voyage. Yet, the old consciousness will resist change and fight for its survival. We must do what is called “shadow work” to both create, and fully exist within the new vibratory field of this new consciousness. What this shadow work consists of is letting what was once hidden from us rise to the surface to be embraced, loved and healed. This is true for individuals as well as the world at large.

In the garden analogy, to build a new garden we need to have a vision, believe in our vision and feel excited at what we are building.

Yet for our vision to come to life, we need to accept the messy situation that exists in the garden as it is.

We need to have an honest assessment of where we are at right now.

And we need to focus all of our energy into what we are creating.

Nothing brings this more into sharp focus like a change of season, change being the key word.

As we clean up our garden following a harsh winter, many plants and flowers will need to be cared for, pruned, branches cut, trees trimmed back. This can be painstaking but it is a necessary part of rebuilding our garden as nature comes back to life.

If all we see or experience is the arduous task of getting our hands dirty or all the back breaking digging needed to be done, we can be assured that the experience will be a negative one.

Yet… our vision for our garden, our belief in our vision and the excitement for it are still intact.

Whether the experience of creating our vision is positive or negative, this is not what matters. The focus is still on creating a new garden.

And metaphysically speaking, this is akin to focusing on a new consciousness.

On the positive side, focusing on a beautiful rose, brings joy.

On the negative side, focusing on the rose bush attacking us with its sharp thorns, brings  pain.

Yet both are part of the garden.

Both are necessary to build a beautiful garden.

WHY THE AWAKENING PROCESS CAN BE SLOW AND DIFFICULT AT TIMES

In our daily life, when someone is rude for instance, we can focus on the other person’s rudeness, look to blame them for all of our reactions, and maybe start looking for validation of our feelings through talking to others who also know this person, perhaps even going on YouTube looking for videos on how rude people are narcissists or have some sort of personality disorder.

On and on it goes, never going anywhere, never changing the vibration of the situation at all.

In the rose analogy, we can focus on the beautiful flower and protect ourselves from the rosebush’s sharp attacks by wearing gloves and protective clothing.

Consciousness is really wherever we are, right now. If we want to awaken and experience greater consciousness, it won’t be a journey without work. Change is not easy. It will feel hard at times, it will feel lonely. We will feel lost at times too. But if we can remember that we are building a new consciousness, a new field of energy with our vision, belief and excitement of what we are creating, then our consciousness shifts much more easily.

When we accept that we will need to get our hands dirty and unearth weeds, old dead leaves, cut dead branches that no longer produce any flowers, then one day we will wake up to a whole new consciousness, in a whole new field of energy, feeling like a whole new person, because we made the conscious choice to create a whole new world for ourselves and for the entire universe.

And we do this by opening up to a consciousness of co-creation with a power greater than ourselves.

Going back to the garden analogy, as we work in the garden, we become aware of a power greater than ourselves, one that is creating these incredible miracles of life. It humbles us. It helps us to marvel at the vastness of all that we aren’t yet conscious of. All that is going on and changing whether we accept it or not. The reality of the change of seasons happens whether we go with the flow or not.

So when feeling lost, lonely, isolated, unmotivated, uninterested in what used to interest us, know that this too shall pass. Change is inevitable. Our consciousness, our soul, our heart will always be tugging at our free-will for us to choose to continue going forward into the new vibrational field, into this new world we are all co-creating together. We are all part of this new wave and our new garden, our new consciousness, is as close to us what we choose to focus on.

We can choose to stay in the old consciousness and focus, or we can choose to go forward by focusing on a new greater consciousness we are co-creating with the Universe.

The change is here.

We have the free-will to choose acceptance, or resistance of this change. But our acceptance or resistance does not stop the flow of change.

A new season is upon us.

We can choose to be brave, be strong, be loving, be forgiving and be free.

It is up to us individually, and collectively.

Our new garden awaits us.

Thursday’s Heart Whisper… what is your soul whispering?

There is a reason for your being. A mission that you came here to accomplish. … Your mission always involves the things you love.”

– Joseph Campbell

(The following is an excerpt adapted from my yet-to-be-published book ©Michèle Duquet, all rights reserved.)

The road to get there, here, living our soul-mission, is not an easy one. It involves great commitment, intention, authenticity and integrity. But when it happens, when we are living our passions and our loves, the soul lets us know through an inner serenity, no matter what currents swirl around us.

It is a practice, an allowing, a discovery, a blossoming.

It cannot happen without our full participation and willingness. We cannot live our passion and love without first making the conscious decision and choice to do so. We are responsible for our own happiness and for bringing together all the elements necessary to make it happen.

How do we know we are living our soul-mission?

Our soul lets us know through its inner whispers.

• Our soul lets us know we’ve found our soul-mission by how it comes to life in our body, heart, mind and spirit. Our energetic states begin to vibrate with soul-clarity, where our perceptions are malleable, changeable through the higher frequencies of love, kindness, understanding and compassion.

• Our soul lets us know we are living our soul-mission by how courageous we are, by how willing we are to set strong boundaries that no longer let through the distractors, the toxic invaders, the old destructive habits, the excuses, the blaming or the shaming.

• Our soul lets us know by how empowered we feel to work our way through the ups and downs so that we can emerge on the other side of pain.

• Our soul lets us know by how our faith is tested at every turn, as we remain steadfast in our resolve to heal, change, face the truth of who we are, and believe in ourselves again.

• And our soul lets us know by how connected we feel to others, how we feel a part of our community, allowing ourselves to be vulnerable enough to ask for help when that is what is needed, and being there for others without depleting ourselves through co-dependency, people-pleasing or enabling.

By allowing ourselves to live moments of passion and love, by identifying those moments when our soul is revealing to us that “this is it”, by having the courage to walk our authentic path, and by having the strength to keep going when our faith is wavering, finding solace in our oneness with others, we suddenly find ourselves waking up to our soul-mission, feeling the love and peace we searched for all of our lives.

So… what is your soul whispering?

Wishing you strength, courage and light on your awakening journey.

Friday’s Heart Whisper: Ho-oponopono…

Today’s Heart Whisper:

(The following is a short excerpt adapted from my yet-to-be-published book ©Michèle Duquet, all rights reserved.)

Ho’Oponopono is a beautiful Hawaiian prayer recited for miraculous healing. The prayer was originally taught by Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona, a beloved healer who was designated ‘a living treasure of Hawaii’ in 1983.

Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len, a staff psychologist at Hawaii State Hospital and a long- time student of Morrnah Simeona, practiced this prayer on patients at a high-security housing unit for the male criminally insane to miraculous results. He gained notoriety due to the strong documentation he had to back up the cases of patients who were healed. When asked how he had healed so many patients, he replied:

“I didn’t heal them. I healed the part of myself that created them.

Although a simple prayer, its effects are extraordinary. I use it often, and I never stop being amazed by its power to heal any situation by bringing me into my heart.

     The Ho’oponopono prayer:

     I love you

     I’m sorry

     Please forgive me

     Thank you

This prayer creates a beautiful opening for love. With the words I love you, the anger and fear that have built walls around our heart can begin to dissipate. But what this prayer also does is speak to the part of us that is taking responsibility for manifesting what it is we are trying to heal.

This goes to the core of our co-creative process. If everything, absolutely everything in our lives is a true reflection of what we are creating, then saying I love you and asking for forgiveness while also acknowledging our gratitude for having been forgiven or for becoming aware of what lives in us, this will heal that part of ourselves that created this. And by loving the other… we love ourselves.

This is the power of love.

Anytime I feel a need for protection, or whenever I catch myself projecting my judgments onto others, I say this prayer. No one can be expected to be perfect but this prayer can move us into the realm of love, healing and forgiveness no matter what imperfections or character defects are brought to light.

Practice saying this prayer for a single day, and you will be amazed with the results.

🌸My 3 Favorite Essential Oils for Meditation🌸

buddha-buddhism-statue-religion-46177.jpeg

Having more than 30 years’ experience with meditation, I’ve had the pleasure of trying many different methods as well as different essential oils that could enhance my timeless/space-less connection to a higher consciousness. As an aromatologist, I often explore the more esoteric side of essential oils and I’ve noticed that some oils have definite enhancement effects during my meditation, albeit at the more subtle energetic levels.

Here are my top 3 pics for amazing essential oils to use during meditation,  and why!

1- Frankincense:

(To be used in a diffuser)

Frankincense allows the ego-self and transpersonal-self to work together, which helps free us from attachments. It also cleans the auric and psychic planes.

I know that my meditations are always enhanced, deeper, when I use Frankincense in my diffuser.

On the physical level, Frankincense has the ability to slow down and deepen our breathing, helping us breathe more slowly and deeply, which in turn brings a feeling of calm and centeredness to our meditation.

I remember a particularly strange event that lasted days in my house… For days my whole house was infused with a strong scent of frankincense… and I could not find its source. I could feel a very high frequency energy within my house during that time. And then it just went away. But it did leave me with a sense of that magical connection that is always there between our 3-D world and the energetic realms.

2- Rose Otto:

(To be rubbed onto the heart chakra)

Rose otto opens the heart chakra. It instills compassion and forgiveness, and brings in love energy as it vibrates with the energy of universal love. It is also a powerful healer of emotional wounds.

From my personal experience, something very moving always happens when I meditate with rose otto essential oil on my heart chakra.

I’ve also experienced the scent of roses out of the blue without having any roses in the room. I know it was my angels saying hello from the energetic realms!

3- Lemon:

(To be used in a diffuser)

Lemon enhances spiritual and psychic awareness while also increasing the connection between our soul and Spirit. For me this translates into a feeling of lightness and expansion during my meditations.

Lemon essential oil also enhances our focus, clears our thoughts and helps us to better concentrate. This makes it a wonderful oil to use during our visualizations and our co-creative practice.

This 3-D world is much closer to the energetic realms than we can even imagine… sometimes the veil is lifted through the magical world of scents! 🌺
